School Fundraising Terms and Conditions
Last updated: 09/08/2026
1. About Good Dream Design
Good Dream Design Limited provides creative fundraising projects for schools, PTAs and PFAs across the United Kingdom.
Children’s artwork is transformed into personalised printed products. Parents and carers place and pay for their orders using a dedicated school ordering link. The participating school or organiser helps to collect the artwork and distribute the completed orders.
These Terms and Conditions apply to participating schools, PTAs, PFAs, organisers, parents and carers using the Good Dream Design school fundraising service.
2. Participation by Schools and Organisers
When a school, PTA or PFA agrees to participate, the campaign timetable and deadlines published on the Good Dream Design website will apply.
Good Dream Design will confirm the following details with the participating school, PTA or PFA:
- The products available and their selling prices
- The commission percentage selected by the school, PTA or PFA
- The school’s dedicated online ordering link
- Arrangements for collecting the completed artwork from the school
- The estimated production schedule and delivery of completed orders to the school
The campaign opening and closing dates, together with the deadline for children’s completed artwork to be returned to the school, will be published on the Good Dream Design website.
By taking part in the project, the school, PTA or PFA agrees to follow these published dates.
The school or organiser is responsible for sharing the dedicated ordering link, campaign information, artwork instructions and published deadlines with participating families in good time.
Good Dream Design cannot guarantee that orders placed or artwork submitted after the published deadline will be accepted or included in the current campaign.
3. Dedicated School Ordering Link
Each participating school, PTA or PFA will receive a dedicated online ordering link created specifically for its fundraising campaign.
Parents and carers must place and pay for their orders through the dedicated link shared by their school, PTA or PFA. Orders placed through this link will be associated with the relevant school and used to calculate its fundraising commission.
The products, prices and fundraising arrangements shown through the dedicated ordering link will reflect the commission percentage agreed with the school, PTA or PFA.
Orders placed through the general Good Dream Design website, another school’s ordering link or without the correct campaign reference may not qualify for the school’s fundraising commission.
The dedicated ordering link will normally remain active only during the published campaign period. Orders placed after the closing date may not be accepted or included in the current campaign.
The school must not alter, copy or use the ordering link for another school or for any purpose unrelated to the agreed fundraising campaign.
4. Orders and Payment
Parents and carers must place and pay for their orders through the dedicated online ordering link provided by their school, PTA or PFA.
An order is accepted once payment has been successfully received and an order confirmation has been issued.
The customer is responsible for checking that all information entered during the ordering process is complete and correct, including:
- The selected product
- The quantity
- The child’s name
- The child’s class
- The school’s details
- Any requested wording, name or personalisation
- The spelling of all information provided
Information provided by the customer may be reproduced exactly as entered. Good Dream Design is not responsible for errors caused by incorrect, incomplete or misspelled information supplied by the customer.
If a customer does not receive an order confirmation, they should contact Good Dream Design before submitting another payment.
5. Order ID and Artwork Matching
Every paid order will receive an Order ID.
The Order ID, child’s name and class must be written clearly on the child’s artwork form. This information enables Good Dream Design to match the submitted artwork with the correct paid order.
Production can begin only when the following can be successfully matched:
- A completed and paid order
- The child’s artwork
- The correct Order ID
- The child’s name and class
- The participating school’s campaign
Missing, unclear or incorrect information may delay production.
Good Dream Design cannot guarantee that an order will be completed within the original campaign schedule if the artwork or required information is submitted late or cannot be matched to a paid order.
Good Dream Design may contact the school or organiser when further information is required. The school or organiser may need to help identify or correct an unmatched submission.
6. Artwork Requirements
Artwork must be completed using the instructions and templates provided for the relevant fundraising project.
Parents, carers, schools and organisers should ensure that:
- The correct artwork template is used
- The artwork is completed in the requested size and orientation
- Important details are kept away from the edges
- The Order ID, child’s name and class are clearly written
- Attached collage pieces or decorations are securely fixed
- Only the intended design is submitted with each artwork form, unless otherwise agreed
- The artwork is suitable for reproduction on the selected products
Good Dream Design may make reasonable production adjustments to the artwork. These may include scanning, straightening, resizing, cropping, repositioning or adding a border.
Reasonable care will be taken to preserve the main features and character of the child’s artwork. However, some details may need to be adjusted or cropped to fit the shape and printable area of the selected product.
Good Dream Design may refuse artwork containing unlawful, offensive, discriminatory or inappropriate material, or content that may infringe another person’s intellectual property rights.
7. Collection of Artwork from the School
The school or organiser is responsible for collecting the children’s completed artwork forms and keeping them safe until collection.
When all artwork is ready, the school or organiser must notify Good Dream Design by email.
Good Dream Design will then arrange for an authorised representative to collect the artwork from the school on an agreed date and at an agreed time.
Good Dream Design may provide the name or collection details of its authorised representative in advance. The school should not hand the artwork to an unidentified or unauthorised person.
Before collection, the school or organiser should ensure that:
- Each artwork form includes the correct Order ID
- The child’s name and class are written clearly
- The artwork forms are organised or grouped as requested
- The number of collected artwork forms has been checked
- The artwork is securely packaged and ready for collection
Good Dream Design will take reasonable care of the artwork after collection. Production may be delayed where artwork cannot be matched with the relevant paid orders.
8. Colours, Product Images and Variations
Colours may appear differently on the original artwork, a computer or phone screen and the finished printed product.
Differences may occur because of:
- Screen settings
- Scanning and printing processes
- The art materials used
- The surface and material of the selected product
- Manufacturing differences between product batches
Good Dream Design cannot guarantee an exact colour match between the original artwork, website images, digital mock-ups and the finished product.
Product photographs and mock-ups are provided for illustrative purposes. The actual colour, scale, print position or appearance may vary slightly.
The same artwork may also look different when printed on products of different sizes, shapes or materials.
Reasonable differences resulting from the printing process, product material or manufacturing process will not normally be treated as faults.
9. School Fundraising Commission
The participating school, PTA or PFA will receive the commission percentage agreed before the campaign begins.
The selected commission percentage will be considered when the school’s dedicated ordering link, campaign prices and fundraising arrangements are created.
Commission will be calculated only on qualifying and completed orders that:
- Were placed through the correct dedicated school ordering link
- Were placed during the applicable campaign period
- Were successfully paid
- Can be matched with the child’s artwork
- Have not been cancelled, refunded or identified as fraudulent
Commission will not normally be payable on:
- Cancelled or refunded orders
- Duplicate or fraudulent transactions
- Orders that cannot be matched with submitted artwork
- Delivery charges or other non-qualifying charges
- Orders placed through another school’s ordering link
- Orders placed through the general Good Dream Design website without the correct school campaign reference
- Orders placed after the campaign closing date, unless specifically accepted by Good Dream Design
The final commission amount will be calculated after the completed campaign orders have been delivered and all qualifying payments, cancellations and refunds have been checked and confirmed.
Commission will normally be paid within four to six weeks after delivery of the completed campaign orders. Payment will be made by bank transfer, or by another payment method agreed in writing, to the participating school, PTA, PFA or other nominated fundraising organisation.
School commission is calculated on the final qualifying product value actually retained after any applicable refunds. If a qualifying order is fully refunded, the refunded eligible product value will not count towards school commission. If only part of a qualifying order is refunded, school commission will be recalculated on the remaining eligible product value. Delivery charges, fees and other non-qualifying amounts are not included in the school commission calculation. A replacement or reprint provided without a monetary refund does not reduce the school commission value of the original paid order.
The receiving organisation is responsible for providing complete, accurate and up-to-date bank account or payment details.
Good Dream Design may request reasonable confirmation that the nominated bank account belongs to, or is authorised by, the relevant school, PTA, PFA or fundraising organisation.
Good Dream Design will not be responsible for a delay, failed payment or payment made using incorrect details where:
- Bank or payment details were not provided
- The information supplied was incomplete or incorrect
- Updated account details were not communicated to Good Dream Design
- The receiving organisation failed to complete a reasonably required verification
- The bank or payment provider delayed or rejected the payment
If a payment is returned or rejected, Good Dream Design will contact the nominated school or organiser and make reasonable arrangements to issue the payment again once complete and correct details have been provided.
10. Production Times
Production begins after the campaign deadline and once the paid orders have been matched with the collected artwork.
Any production or delivery date provided is an estimate unless Good Dream Design expressly confirms otherwise in writing.
Production or delivery may be affected by:
- Late artwork
- Missing or incorrect information
- Artwork that cannot be matched with an order
- Unusually high order volumes
- Supplier or manufacturing delays
- Courier disruption
- Events outside Good Dream Design’s reasonable control
Good Dream Design will take reasonable steps to complete the orders within the published campaign schedule but cannot guarantee a specific delivery date where delays are caused by circumstances outside its reasonable control.
11. Delivery of Completed Orders
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, completed fundraising orders will be delivered together to the participating school, PTA, PFA or nominated organiser.
The school or organiser is responsible for:
- Receiving the delivery
- Checking the number of parcels received
- Keeping the products in a safe and suitable place
- Distributing the correct products to participating families
- Reporting missing or visibly damaged parcels promptly
Once the completed orders have been correctly delivered to the school or nominated organiser, the collection or distribution of individual orders to families becomes the responsibility of the school or organiser.
Good Dream Design is not responsible for an order that is lost, damaged or given to the wrong family during distribution by the school or organiser.
Parents and carers should follow the collection instructions provided by their school.
12. Missing, Damaged, Faulty or Incorrect Items
Parents and carers should first report a missing item to their school or campaign organiser so that the delivered parcels and distribution records can be checked.
Damaged, faulty, missing or incorrectly produced items should be reported as soon as reasonably possible, preferably within 14 days of the order being distributed by the school.
This requested reporting period helps Good Dream Design investigate and resolve problems promptly. It does not limit or remove the customer’s statutory rights.
The customer or organiser may be asked to provide:
- The school’s name
- The Order ID
- The child’s name and class
- A description of the problem
- Clear photographs of the product
- Photographs of the packaging, where relevant
Where a product is faulty, damaged, not as described or incorrectly produced because of an error by Good Dream Design, an appropriate remedy will be provided in accordance with the customer’s statutory rights. Depending on the circumstances, this may include a replacement, reprint or refund.
A replacement product may require additional production time.
13. Personalised and Made-to-Order Products
Products created using a child’s artwork, name or other customer-provided details are personalised and made to order.
The usual 14-day cancellation right for online purchases does not generally apply to goods made to the customer’s specifications or clearly personalised.
Therefore, once production has started, personalised orders cannot normally be cancelled, changed or returned because the customer:
- Has changed their mind
- Selected the wrong product or quantity
- Supplied incorrect information
- Made a spelling mistake
- No longer wants the product
This does not affect the customer’s statutory rights if a product is faulty, damaged, not as described or incorrectly produced by Good Dream Design.
If a mistake results from information supplied or approved by the customer, Good Dream Design is not required to provide a free replacement or refund. A replacement may be offered at a reduced price at Good Dream Design’s discretion.
If a cancellation request is received before production begins, Good Dream Design may consider the request but cannot guarantee that cancellation will be possible.
14. Artwork Ownership and Permission
The child or original creator retains ownership of their artwork.
By submitting artwork to Good Dream Design, the parent, carer, school or authorised organiser confirms that:
- They have permission to submit the artwork
- Good Dream Design may collect, scan, photograph, reproduce, resize and adapt the artwork as necessary to fulfil the order
- The artwork does not knowingly infringe another person’s copyright, trade mark or other intellectual property rights
- The artwork may be handled by authorised production partners where necessary to complete the order
The permission granted to Good Dream Design is limited to processing and fulfilling the relevant fundraising orders, maintaining necessary business records and resolving customer service issues.
A child’s artwork, photograph, name or other identifiable information will not be used for unrelated advertising, social-media or promotional purposes.
15. Retention and Secure Disposal of Original Artwork
Good Dream Design will take reasonable care of original artwork while it is being matched, scanned and used to produce the ordered products.
Unless a different arrangement has been agreed in writing, original artwork will not be returned to the school or participating families.
Original paper artwork will be retained temporarily for production, quality-control and order-resolution purposes. It will normally be securely destroyed within 30 days after the completed campaign orders have been delivered to the school or nominated organiser.
Artwork that cannot be matched with a paid order may also be securely destroyed after the relevant retention period if the required information is not provided.
Digital copies required for producing orders or resolving customer-service issues will be kept only for as long as reasonably necessary and will then be securely deleted, unless:
- Retention is required by law
- A complaint, replacement request or dispute remains unresolved
- The information is required for necessary business or financial records
Good Dream Design is not responsible for artwork that was lost or damaged before it was collected by its authorised representative.
16. Intellectual Property
All content on the Good Dream Design website, including its branding, logo, text, templates, campaign materials, product designs, photographs and graphics, belongs to Good Dream Design or is used with permission.
Schools, organisers and customers may use the campaign materials supplied to them only for promoting and administering the relevant Good Dream Design fundraising campaign.
These materials must not be copied, altered, resold or used for another commercial purpose without prior written permission.
17. Events Outside Our Reasonable Control
Good Dream Design will not be responsible for a delay or failure caused by an event outside its reasonable control.
Such events may include:
- Courier or postal disruption
- Severe weather
- Industrial action
- Supplier or manufacturing failure
- Fire or flood
- Epidemics or public health restrictions
- Government restrictions
- Interruptions to essential services, internet access or payment systems
If such an event occurs, Good Dream Design will take reasonable steps to reduce the effects of the delay and complete the affected orders as soon as reasonably possible.
Where an order cannot be completed and must be cancelled, the customer will be informed and an appropriate refund will be arranged.
Nothing in this section limits any rights or responsibilities that cannot legally be excluded.
18. Website and Online Ordering
Good Dream Design aims to keep its website, product information, prices and ordering system accurate and available. However, uninterrupted access cannot be guaranteed.
Good Dream Design may temporarily suspend or restrict access for maintenance, technical problems, security reasons or circumstances outside its reasonable control.
If an obvious pricing, product or technical error affects an order, Good Dream Design may contact the customer before production begins to correct the error, offer an alternative or cancel and refund the affected order.
Customers who experience an ordering or payment problem should contact Good Dream Design before the campaign deadline.
19. Privacy and Personal Information
Personal information will be processed in accordance with the Good Dream Design Privacy Policy and applicable UK data protection law.
Schools and organisers should provide only the information reasonably required to administer the fundraising campaign.
Information such as a child’s name, class, artwork and Order ID may be used for:
- Matching artwork with paid orders
- Producing personalised products
- Organising delivery and distribution
- Providing customer support
- Investigating missing or incorrect orders
- Maintaining necessary business and financial records
Schools and organisers are responsible for sharing campaign information with families and ensuring that personal information is provided appropriately.
Children’s personal information, artwork and photographs will not be used for unrelated marketing, advertising or social-media purposes.
20. Limitation of Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful. This includes liability for:
- Death or personal injury caused by negligence
- Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation
- Breach of the customer’s statutory consumer rights
- Any other liability that cannot legally be excluded
Subject to applicable law, Good Dream Design will not be responsible for indirect or consequential losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the order was placed.
Good Dream Design is not responsible for losses caused by incorrect information, missed deadlines or other failures by a customer, school or organiser to follow the published campaign instructions.
21. Complaints
If a customer, school or organiser is unhappy with the service provided, they should contact Good Dream Design using the details below.
The complaint should include:
- The school’s name
- The relevant Order ID, where applicable
- A clear description of the issue
- Any supporting photographs or information
Good Dream Design will review the complaint and aim to respond within a reasonable period.
22. Changes to These Terms
Good Dream Design may update these Terms and Conditions when its services, products, campaign arrangements or legal obligations change.
The Terms applying to an order will be those displayed or provided at the time the order is placed.
Any material change affecting an active campaign will be communicated to the participating school or organiser where reasonably possible.
23. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
The courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction, except where a customer living elsewhere in the United Kingdom has the legal right to bring proceedings in their local courts.
